An example of this can be found on the dashboards of Mercedes Benz Mai Bock autos. The colors range from reddish brown but can swing into a beautiful golden yellow. Amboyna Burls are found on the Paduak and Narra trees in South East Asia. This valuable treasure was once hoarded by the Chinese Emperors and never permitted to common people.

Description of Wood: This wood is also known as New Guinea Rosewood. The Red Narra is the same tree the Amboyna Burl comes from. The wood is actually Narra and the Beeswing is a name for the beautiful pattern found in the center of the tree. It is a reddish tan to an orangey deep red. The Beeswing pattern is very Chatoyant which means it changes appearance as the light hits the grain.
